WARNING. RWIA and RWIS units appear to be orphan products to me. I have ordered three of these. There is no warranty that I can find. That alone should tell you something, but there's more. Units use 4 AA batteries each. That would be a total power supply of 6 volts, yet the AC adapter connector on the back is clearly marked "12 VDC" I made the mistake of believing the marking and connected an adapter at 12VDC, which instantly blew out the unit. To Amazon's great credit it was speedily replaced without complaint.
More yet. The instructions are disorganized, vague and incomplete. I managed to get my three units set up but it took hours of experimentation. Anyone who has set one up quickly has just been lucky. The instructions give no indication of polarity for the AC adapter either.
And even more. Chamberlain's web site does not seem to support the RWIA/RWIS system other than the ability to download the owners manual. If you follow the "product registration" links, the only thing you will find is garage door openers.

I've got no problems at all with. As promised, the audio is clear and crisp. Right now it's used upstairs in the kitchen and down in the Basement entertainment room. Batteries were placed in it about a month ago, and they're going strong. Wish they had the AC Converters with them, but I new that going into the purchase. Easy setup and good sound. Easy to hear the person on the other end. Voices have good clarity
