We checked two big box stores for the Jawhorse and they did not have them or none in stock. I saw the item at Amazon.com and ordered it, received it within a few day - FREE SHIPPING! My husband had it put together in a matter of minutes and loves it, easy to store and very strong.

I ordered this thing for use at my second home where I don't have the benefit of all the tools I have in my workshop. Couldn't be happier with its performance. Need a vise while working in the garage or out in the yard? This is your answer. Need a stable platform when you're cutting lumber? This is your answer. Some of the nitpickers here have whined about plastic parts etc. Take it from someone who put the thing to use right out of the box. It's a great tool that you will find plenty of use for. This took me 3 minutes to set up. Took longer to unbox it. It was easy to use the first time. It clamps tight, releases easily.It has a good warranty though I have to wonder how long the little dogs that engage the jaws to do the clamping will last. The engineer in me had to find out how it works.
I wish it would easily hold a full 4' sheet of plywood, but that would make it heavier.
