Tools and Hardware Reviews of Rockwell RK9000 JawhorseCustomer Review: Best purchase I've recently made Summary: 5 Stars
This is probably the best all purpose tool I have ever bought. It will hold just about anything you can put in it. No more bending down to work on things.
Customer Review: Best tool I ever purchased Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased the Jaw Horse a couple of years ago. When I need it, it is always a life saver. I could not have done the projects I have had to do in such a short period of time without the Jaw Horse. It really has vise grip strength, it is very versatile and very stable. Using a 2 x 4 stud with a T top, I have used it as a pair of second hands to brace the other end of a gutter, I have used it to hold a 44 inch wide grass catcher while I assembled it (which sure beats bending over trying to work on the ground). I have used it to hold a full sheet of plywood I had to cut. It also makes a great temporary table while using the plywood. I use it to hold and saw long pieces of fire wood when the logs are too long. There is a separate log holder you can purchase but for medium sized pieces, the standard vice works just fine. It was invaluable when I was building my deck when I used it to hold up the supporting beam on one end while I attached the other end. I don't even have one complaint to make.
If you are a homeowner and you mostly work alone, this is a tool that you will be grateful you purchased for years to come. With a little imagination, there are almost no limits to it's use.
I know I sound a little too excited about it but honestly, it is one of the few tools (and I have a lot of tools) that is well worth the money. I also adamantly recommend getting the plywood holding unit. Rockwell Jawhorse RK9109 Plywood Jaw Accessory Attachment
It is a separate sliding top that holds the full sheet of plywood and it is one of the main reasons I love the Jaw Horse. I think the total cost with the plywood holding accessory was about $220.00 total. Again, it is well worth the money.
Customer Review: Best tool ever Summary: 5 Stars

Works as described, even lot of more uses depending on what line of work you are on. Buy it
Customer Review: Built like a tank! Summary: 5 Stars
The Rockwell Jawhorse is built like a tank. I know, I already said that, but it bears repeating. Such a joy to find a product made of metal, not that plastic is bad for some things, but there are no corners cut here; nothing cheap or flimsy. The design makes it easy to use and workable by one person, which makes it a great asset to the one-man/woman worker/craftsman etc.
Only thing that may have made it 'perfect' (if there is such a thing) would be the capability (out of the box) to open wide enough to grasp a sheet of plywood/paneling out of the box, instead of having to purchase an extension that is nearly a third of the street cost of the original jawhorse. Think about it, this product is designed and marketed to home handi-folks, wood-workers, and contractors. Who of those don't deal with 4x8 sheets of material often? I can see the welding, and round wood and other specialty jaws etc, but having to pay extra for a 48" wide 'jaw' is a shame.
That minor rant aside, the Rockwell Jawhorse is a must have tool, especially for those who work alone on jobs, or in their own workshop. Mine has been used daily since it was delivered a couple of weeks ago.
Customer Review: Built tough, and does the job very well Summary: 5 Stars
This item is one of the very few tools that does more than is claimed for it. I have several of the attachments for it including the plywood jaw and for the past two years I have used the Jawhorse continually. The item is substantially built, and performs flawlessly. Try it, you WILL like it!
