I purchased this clock as a Christmas gift for a friend whose kitchen is all in 'Rooster' motif. It blends in well with her other items and seems to keep time well, too! It's not a 'fancy' clock but looks nice on the wall. It's made of wood with a printed papeer face and the typical battery operated (2 AA cells)clock mechanism mounted on the backside. Nice and a good value!
