Customer Review: Excellent Pry Bar Set, BUT...
Summary: 1 Stars

Almost so nice that you'd rather use them as wall hangings in your garage.

So why one star? [..]
Here's the trick to getting the labels off (warning: you will cuss and take up about two hours of your time removing the labels):

Step 1. use a hair dryer in the highest heat level and try to peel and scrape off as much of the labels on the four bars as possible. This step will take between 30-45.

Step 2. take the bars into a grassy area and spray the glue residue on each of the bars with a thin oil lubricant such as WD40.

Step 3. using the course side of a scouring sponge, remove as much of the residue as possible. You'll need to throw the sponge away after use (my wife is still letting me hear about swiping the sponge off the kitchen sink).

Step 4. repeat Steps 2 & 3 several times to get as much of the glue residue off as possible.

Step 5. using Carburetor Cleaner to removing the remaining residue. Be careful not to spray too much since the painted surface of the pry bars will come off.

Step 6. use Windex as a final cleaner to remove the petroleum based residue from the bars.

2 hrs may seem like quite a bit, but, unfortunately that's about how long you will waste considering that you need to gather the items you'll need and then the clean-up including a shower because you will smell like WD40 when you're done.

A ten star item ruined by the packaging. Regarding the bars themselves, see the other reviews which are accurate. Another point to make is that the club-head of the 48" bar is actually smaller than the 36" head; not sure why unless the bar length and leverage had something to do with it. All of the heads are positioned at about 91 degrees (nice).
