The Rubbermaid kit was straightforward to install and only took a couple hours. We now have several more feet of hanging space and my wife is so pleased that she wants me to do the other two closets now! The "no cutting needed" feature is great. I replaced this in my youngest daughter's closet so she could get to her clothes. The only regret I have is not putting the hang rail lower. I went against my better judgement and put it at the recommended height. Now when the highest slot is utilized I can't put anything larger than a shoe box on the top shelf. The closet is 23 inches deep and if yours is deeper it may not be a problem, just something to think about. On to my oldest daughter's closet, which is a walk-in. These have been pretty solid for me so far. I am concerned about having too much weight on the racks, and having to have used some plastic anchors in certain places. But then again, I don't intend on putting heavy-bins up anytime soon. It is a bit tricky marking out where to initially install the rails, but once they are all in place, it's easy to configure/reconfigure the closet setup. Just last night my fiance and I re-did things to make it more efficient for us. One 'quirk' I ran into, and maybe this is in the instructions and I just forgot, but it seems you can't install the racks at the *highest* level of the rail (the one notch-hole at the top won't seem to allow the rack to fit in...) Not a big deal though.
Anyway, I am a bit hesitant about the weight load, once my fiance puts all her clothes in. That would suck to have it come all crashing down :(
One piece of advice, and I guess this would make sense for installing anything that would carry a heavier weight load: don't depend *too* much on those wall anchors and try to find the STUD!

I've used other closet organizers that were much more expensive and more difficult to install. This system is very easy to install & is very affordable. The system has many configuration options & is very easy to adjust as well.
I did all four bedrooms & am very pleased with the results.
