I bought this little white ladder to use in the kitchen to reach the top shelf on the cabinets. It was a wise choice. I use it more often than I thought I would. In addition to the kitchen I use it when painting and to change light bulbs. It folds up nicely and fits under the counter. My only wish is that it would come in different colors. I have had this step stool for over 5 years -- two of them in fact -- and think it's great. I especially like that (1) it stands on its own when closed and (2) it's not hard on bare feet. I like to paint without socks or shoes on (to know when I've stepped in wet paint before I track it all over) and this stool is very comfortable for that. It's easy to open, easy to close, and easy to store (although not because it's thin -- it's not -- but because it stands on its own).
A friend bought one before I did and recommended it, otherwise I may never have spent [...] (at the time) on a step stool. I'm glad I got it...as evidenced by the fact that I bought another one for the same household. :-)
