Customer Review: BEWARE - IT IS NOT WHAT IS PICTURED!!!

Beware - they send you the OLD, NOT BPA free model! The new, BPA free model has red covers, just as on the picture, and the swirls on the sides of the containers. They sent instead the plain older model, no swirls, navy-blue covers. Do not care about the swirls, but the reason I'm getting new containers is to replace the old ones with these BPA free. Returned for replacement (And commented as to why!) - they sent me AGAIN the old model!!! Arranged with Amazon for a refund now (originally it eligible for replacement only). One more trip to the post office... And, btw, the shipping was almost the cost of the item itself - would be better off just buying containers one by one in the supermarket, at least I'd see what they are.Customer Review: Concerned about the #7

I recently purchased this set. I love the clear plastic to see what is in them and the way the lids attach to each other an the bottom of the bowl. My concern is the #7 recycling code and the health scare issues over #7 plastics. Apparently baby borrles made from the hard clear plastics are no longer made??? I realize these Rubbermaid containers have the NSF rating but could not discern if this specifically covered the safety of the plastic in this product. Would love to feel more confident in using this set and buying it as a gift in the future. Any helpful input anyone??Customer Review: Deceptive Effectiveness

Despite the high price for these containers, the claim that they are stain resistant and odor resistant is false. They are resistant against only certain types of food. Here is what they say in the disclaimer for the product:
* To avoid pitting, do not reheat food high in salt, oil, fat, sugar or tomato.
* Premier is designed to resist stains from tomato based foods.
* Reheating foods containing curry seasoned with the herb turmeric may stain the containers.
Thus, the containers only resist tomato based foods, and there is still the possibility of pitting for most typical foods. I recently reheated curry in one of these containers, and now it is tinged a bright yellow permanently. I was not aware that the containers cannot resist stains from curry because I had reheated curry in the older version of this product numerous times without a single stain.
Also, the drawbacks listed by others are true as well. The actual volume of food that can be stored in these containers is 10-15% less than stated, since the lids drop into the containers. Thus, I have to keep correcting the amount of food that I add because I do not know if it will fit with the lid on. Also, you have to be extra careful with liquids, because you could have a big mess if you put the lid on a full container.
Overall, the product would not be that bad if it weren't much more expensive than their Easy Find Lids containers. It is not worth spending the extra money on stain resistant containers if they don't resist stains.

Very good product.. Each container comes with it's lid.. All the lids are a same size; they fit all the containers in the package. The material seems to be very durable and locks in and saves your meals very well...I'm very picky about this, because some of the ones I've bought before, didn't close very well on each side, spilling your foods in the fridge, lunchboxes, etc. I highly recommend it.Customer Review: GREAT LITTLE CONTAINER
