Tools and Hardware Reviews of Rubbermaid Antimicrobial Large Dish Drainer, BlackCustomer Review: Not so great Summary: 1 Stars
Dishdrainer and drain board were a waste of money. What a disappointment. The dishdrainer is so flimsey. The wire is about 1/3 of my 10 year old rubbermaid. I'm not sure it can even hold my dishes. Also the drainboard is just a little weak piece of plastic. What the heck happened to Rubbermaid? What a bunch of crap!
Customer Review: Poor design Summary: 3 Stars
This dries as well as any drying rack, but if you have a full silverware cup and your emptying dishes it will flip over into the sink. its broken some bowls, now i empty the silverware first, but its a pain.
Customer Review: Poorer construction than older model Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this to replace an older Rubbermaid dish rack. The material (coated wire?)is thinner than it used to be. This is better for glasses - as the rack more easily bends to accommodate them, but overall it just feels less sturdy. Additionally I really dislike the redesign of the silverware holder. There is now a hole in the rack itself - for the holder - that was unnecessary, poorly placed and is too big - I find that dishes fall through it.
Customer Review: Practical and spacious Summary: 4 Stars
The rubbermaid dish drainer in black is big enough to accomodate a large dish rack for a full load of dishes. The price--in comparison with offers from other companies--is great and it looks fine in the kitchen. My only concern is that water doesn't really drain into the sink since the slant/design doesn't force the small accumulations from dripping dishes downward. Therefore, I do have to clean/wipe it regularly. It's a great size, though, and a nice deal for the price.
Customer Review: Rubbermaid Dish Drainer Summary: 4 Stars
Should have looked at the measurements. Too large. Nice though. I may give as a gift.
