I was really excited to get this set, since I have had other great food storage containers from Rubbermaid. I will start with the pros:
Nice variety of sizes in containers
They clean very well in the dishwasher...sauce does not stain them
Cons:
The first issue was that I was missing 4 lids. I called Rubbermaid and they were very courteous and promptly sent me a gift certificate to go out and buy the missing lids, as they do not have replacement lids in the warehouse. This was a bit annoying, but they did rectify the problem.
My biggest issue with the storage containers is that it is very difficult to snap the bottom of the containers to the lids for storage, as seen in the picture. The edges are sharp and pushing down on them so hard trying to snap them is very uncomfortable. The cool storage design was the biggest reason why I bought them, so I am disappointed.

I only ordered these because I was trying to bump up my order for free shipping. I usually use Gladware. I am impressed with how tight these lids fit the containers. I will buy these in the future. Much better quality than Glad for no extra money. I would not worry about putting soup in these and throwing them in a lunch kit. With that said they are not too tight like my Pyrex, which sometimes is difficult getting the lid snapped on.Customer Review: BPA free?

I had previously purchased this item else where, and the box clearly states that it is BPA free. I just ordered this on Amazon a couple days ago, and noticed that it does not have the "BPA free" logo on the box. I contacted Amazon, but was in return asked what is "BPA." Once it was explained to the representative, he tells me to check the website for that they will be updating the information. I also tried contacting the manufacturer, but still have not heard anything either.
Does anyone know if this is BPA free like it's supposed to be?
