My wife and I have always been unintentional collectors of food storage containers. They find their way to our house without us purchasing them (leftovers, parties, etc.), and we are re-users so we would continually add them to our collection. After years of this practice, our cabinets were overrun with containers of all different bands and sizes, stacked haphazardly, many missing lids. It would take a long time to find the right size and then track down a lid, and if any guests asked for their container back, we had no hope of distinguishing ours from theirs.
Enter the Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Food Storage Container Set. We recycled all of our old containers, and consolidated from two whole cabinets down to a single shelf in a single cabinet. Now we can immediately find the appropriate size container with matching lid, and if a guest leaves behind a foreign container we either recycle it or know who to return it to. The 24-piece set has a great variety of sizes, and there's never been an instance of us needing an additional container. My only complaint is that the lids can be difficult to click into each other when stacking, but all of the pros far outweigh this one con. I can't believe we went for so long without these!

I am very happy with the Easy Find Lid series. They are very good quality. But then, the many, many other reviewers who all also love this set will tell you that.

One more note - I found that buying two of the 24 piece sets was several dollars cheaper than buying either the 50 or 48 piece sets, and would provide a nicer distribution that would fit my needs better. Prices will change, of course, so this may not always be true, but it was for me.

Really like this set as it's very functional, the same size lids for multiple containers makes it so much easier to find a compatible lid in the cabinet. Looking for larger one's though, but don't want to pay $10 each for them. Any thoughts?Customer Review: Do Not Put in a microwave!

Handy as a pocket on a shirt. There is a size that fits all our needs and the lid is where you can find it. They are not as good for frisbees as a cool-whip lid though. Absolutely perfect for our dipping veggie supply, makes healthy snacks easy to access.
