What a wonderful product! These collapsible, color coded containers are sturdy. One of the best feature is that the lids and containers are color coded according to size so I never need to guess which lid goes with which container. They stack nicely in the fridge. After use, just wash, dry, collapse and store. Your kitchen cabinets will never have that cluttered look again!

Rubbermaid® collapsible containers feature pleated sidewalls that are designed to flatten to 1 for neat, organized storage or expand to full capacity for storing food. To ensure a long life of use, Rubbermaid® collapsible containers are required to endure thousands of open / close cycles.True to its name, this 4-cup Collapsibles container from Rubbermaid makes storage--both inside and outside of the fridge--simpler and more versatile. Easily flattened between uses, the bowl expands to full capacity with a simple push. It can also be kept smaller for storing lesser amounts. If you have 4 cups of rice pilaf left over, you can store it all. But if you just have 1-1/2 cups of sliced strawberries to store, the bowl doesn't take up unnecessary space in the fridge. Fully collapsed, it measures just 1 inch with the lid attached, so there is no need for awkward stacks or frustrating lid hunts. Tested for long-lasting durability and leak-resistance, both lid and bowl are safe in the microwave, freezer, and dishwasher.
