I've looked in dozens of supermarkets in Washington, Oregon & California for Tuffies. The last time I found them, I bought a dozen. Now the stock is running low and I'm absolutely delighted to find them here. Unlike the flimsy plastio scrubbers widely available, Tuffies are, in fact, tough. They rinse clean and take a lot of time and effort to destroy.
Nothing else like them.
Update: It is now May 2010 and time to order another case of Tuffys. They're still the best and still impossible to find anywhere but here.

I had searched for these and finally found them on Amazon. My daughter had requested that I help her search for them. She had been unable to find them anywhere, and she liked them because they did not damage surfaces and they cleaned up easily.
I was SO pleased to find them on Amazon. Of course, I had to buy a whole box, but that was OK with me.

My husband swears by these "tuffys". Using these means he will help with the dishes. Hooray. They hold up well and can be run through the dishwasher for sanitation. I have had a difficult time finding them in the store so I bought a case!Customer Review: None better!

There is NONE better than this scrubbing ball! It lasts forever, it never scratches any surface, and it CLEANS!
My grandmother used this when I was little, as did my mother. Now I have my own children searching for it in every store they enter. I've even offered a reward to the finder - that's how much I treasure this efficient little scouring ball.
To clean, simply toss in the dishwasher and it comes out like new. My poor little last Tuffy now resides in my dishwasher, waiting for its replacement to take its place in my kitchen-cleaning tools. I hope that replacement can be found before this 5-year-old ball finally scrubs its last pan.

I ordered a box of the ones shown on this very page, but what showed up were the blue versions, not the orange and yellow originals.
The ones that arrived were much flimsier than the orange and yellow one they replaced. The nylon threads were thinner, and because they are dark blue the new ones show trapped food scraps more easily. One has already unraveled after 2 weeks of use (the original lasted for several years).
Tuffy scrubbers are great products, but I wouldn't buy them from this vendor.
