You can already tell how terrible the quality is just putting the batteries in the laser. The screw at the end that seals the batteries in the laser will not screw in completely so it kind of wobbles around but the screw doesn't fall out even it you tug it a little so that's fine I guess. The instructions on the back of the piece of cardboard with the picture of the laser on it have so many spelling mistakes and spaces where there shouldn't be spaces it's funny but the instructions only have 2 steps on them anyway and it's easy enough to figure out so don't let that deter you from buying this little keychain. The laser won't go super far like your 50 mile lasers for all you laser geeks but it'll go a good couple hundred feet and is bright enough to use for presentations and pointing out nearby objects to your friends. The LED light is A LOT brighter than I expected and works really well. For the price it's not bad but since this is an item made in china you are taking the chance of getting an item defective in some way. For me it was the screw at the end of the laser but remember if it's defective enough to make you want to throw it away you can always just send it back to Amazon!
