I bought this Loupe for inspecting electronics. Be aware that you have to be very close, and have you eye very close, but it does the job. For the price it serves my purposes well. I was a little disappointed that the writing has already started coming off.

The loupe was as described, I guess, but the magnification was not as great as I expected. I thought that I would be able to see things more clearly. I'm not sure if this is typical of jewelers loupes or it a higher magnification is available. Disappointing.

First of all, this order was placed on August 5th and was in my mailbox on the 9th!!
This is from Ca. to Al. Incredible!!! This is a very high quality loupe that I would have expected to pay much more for. Amazon also pitched in free shipping. No more need for diamond knowledge or quality, buy one of these and see for yourself what your getting; and plus, a jeweler can't pull the old switch-a-roo on the stone while your jewelry piece is in for repair, sizing, etc. You will always know "your" stone by it's unique birth mark(s). Great deal!
