Tools and Hardware Reviews of SE Wireless Motion Sensor Light - 10 Super-Bright LEDCustomer Review: Don't expect too much Summary: 3 Stars
Poor construction; not easy to fixe if you accidentally push in the lens while extracting the item from the package.
1 of 4 failed after 2 weeks.
Good for interior "night light" or closet type lighting.
Don't expect it to function as a "security" light.
Customer Review: Enlightening! Summary: 5 Stars
Love this little light, have now bought three to lighten up three very dark closets. Have always wanted to rig the closets to have a light come on when the door opens, but didn't want the hassle of expense of adding wiring. While not as bright as a 40-watt bulb, these LED lights give enough illumation to navigate a small walk-in closet. Very economical, easy solution if you don't need intense lighting.
Customer Review: For the Price It's Fine Summary: 4 Stars
It worked fine from the get-go. Absolutely no directions, which I was hoping would show the sensor range to help me decide on placement. (I see I have to get that info from the product description)
I have it just inside a walk-in garage door. The garage light switch is at the other end of the garage so at night it's completely dark and unsafe to fumble towards the light switch. This thing gives just enough light to get there safely. It's not much brighter than a nightlight.
It's a little odd having the sensor right there next to the light. Maybe I'll have to try a location closer to my feet so the light doesn't shine in my eyes, but it's not a big deal.
This is an easy way to get a little light in a dark spot that doesn't have electricity. For the money don't expect any frills. Some of the bad reviews are from some previous time when the description described features it doesn't have, like daylight-off function. It has ON-OFF-SENSOR and that's it. It remains to be seen how batteries hold up and if it works when the garage gets real cold.
Customer Review: Good but not great Summary: 3 Stars
From a motion-sensor standpoint, it works as described. From a brightness standpoint, it's not all that bright. I use it in a small closet, and it's about half as bright as the 15-watt fluorescent tube I had there before.
Customer Review: Good for gun safe Summary: 4 Stars
Bought two of these for my gun safe. They're nice and bright, and the motion sensor works very well, and has good sensitivity on picking up on the safe door opening and automatically turning on to light up the safe. Only downside is that mounting options are a bit limited. Has one hanger mount for hanging vertically, have to get a little creative to mount horizontally under a shelf or on the "ceiling" of a safe. In the end, bought these and some 9-LED triangular shaped lights here on Amazon as well, and these are the better ones for a safe in terms of picking up on movement and automatically turning on when you open the door.
