I searched all around and this was the best deal I could find for a tomahawk like this. The quality is excellent and it is very sharp. I haven't had it long, so I don't know how it holds up over time, but at this price point it is a great value. Sure, you could spend a lot more and maybe find a better one, but for the money this SOG tomahawk is the best choice in my opinion.Customer Review: Best in Class for price

This is the close combat hawk you are looking for. It isn't made for chopping wood, it's for chopping people. Like it or not, that's the way it is. It's durable and very sharp. It has a good weight to it. Don't worry about the drilled holes in the hawk, they don't affect the durability at all. Haven't put it to the test of true combat, hope I do. The only thing that should change is a sheath that can attach to molle gear. SOG should look at the SPAX for inspiration.Customer Review: Cool

This weapon is cool. It is a great tool, very sharp, well made. If your into throwing I would suggest something with a wider blade, but for clearing brush around a fishing hole, or sharpening wood to a point, making tinder,this thing is great. I do think the sheath could have been made a little better. It is tight against the belt and has a tendency to pop open in cramped spaces.
