This version of the tactical tomohawk is simply the most impressive improvement on any model of tomohawk in a long time!!! I had previously owned the T900 tactical tomohawk and although it was a good tomohawk in its own right my pet killing ratio has increased tenfold since I purchased this one. Also I have not gotten a single knoch on the blade despite the density of the skull hawked. I recomend this to everyone.Customer Review: Exactly What I Wanted

Arrived very quickly, well packed, and in flawless condition. At first I was not crazy about the two round cutouts in the main cutting blade. However, having thrown MANY hawks in my day, it became quickly evident the cutouts were to reduce the weight of the head for balance (likely to offset the weight of the substantial spike). This hawk has very good balance for throwing. The grooves in the handle solve the issue many hawks have with slippery handles, which can be a danger when throwing. The handle is black poly and feels very solid. The spike sports a 6 sided grind which is a very nice touch. What is hard to see in the pictures is the handle is not attached through a hole in the hawk's head. Rather the head is forged in a one piece design with very solid metal protrusions that extend down and attach to the handle with high quality screws. Looking for a tool to chop wood around the campsite? This is not it. This is a specialty tactical tomahawk, for specialty use. If your specialties include jumping on the roofs of moving vehicles, breaching windows and doors, deflating tires, poking 3/4 inch holes in 33 gallon drums, or engaging in close quarters hand to hand interactions, this hawk is for you.Customer Review: Exactly what I expected from SOG

Very well made tool. Nice solid handle, good weight, and very sharp. And most importantly, stays sharp. Only thing I would suggest is the addition of a lanyard. When you need two hands free, it would be nice to have it hang from your wrist.Customer Review: Excellent Rescue Tool

SOG quality at a good price. I used mine pretty hard, cutting small trees and even threw it a little. Keeps a nice edge and is well made, like it better than the Cold Steel one. Make sure you are getting the right one I thought I was getting the bigger one this is the FastHawk but after using it I am glad it is the perfect size.
