Tools and Hardware Reviews of SOG Specialty Knives & Tools S66-N PowerAssist Multitool with Power Assist BladesCustomer Review: EVERYTHING in one tool! Summary: 5 Stars
I've had one of the original SOG multi-tools for over 10 years and it worked flawlessly. Until TSA took it!
I expect the same 9or longer) lifespan for this one. So far, it's met my criteria for build quality and function!!!
Customer Review: Excellent, but Summary: 4 Stars
The SOG 66N multitool is very well made, the gears on the pliers are astounding. The locking and unlocking mechanisms work very well. I find the removable lever to open the scissors, file and phillips head screwdriver to be an oddity, but still functional. It is the phillips screwdriver about which i complain. I have had over half a dozen multitools and all of them had a phillips head #2, while the SOG has a phillips #1. The most frequently encountered phillips screw is by far the # 2, and this #1 is simply too small to grasp the #2 screws that I have tried it on. I looked at the SOG tools on Amazon and they all said they have a phillips head screwdriver, but none specified that it was a #2 phillips. Guess I will have to look at other brands to get what I want. If the #2 phillips is not important to you, then this is an excellent tool.SOG Specialty Knives & Tools S66-N PowerAssist Multitool with Power Assist Blades
Customer Review: Great Multi-tool Summary: 5 Stars
This multi-tool is amazing.
The assisted blade opens up very fast with only the slightest amount of pressure at the right angle. I've already used the easy access knife in so many occasions because it is SO EASY to just flip out.
The other tools inside work just as well and the compound leverage is something else. The ONLY problem I see with the tool is when you want to take the v cutter out it also brings out one of the can openers. You can put it back with the slightest pressure but its just a little annoying at times. NO BIGGY though.
Definitely would recommend this to a friend. Already have.
Customer Review: Great Tool / But the nylon case sucks Summary: 4 Stars
The SOG powerassist is awesome; but, the nylon case isn't. The nylon case has a plastic open ended clip on it and if you use the tool daily like me the clip will bend out within two weeks. After the clip bends out the case with the tool will fall off and you will lose your freeking SOG powerassist forever, like me. What a terrible case! Do yourself a favor and buy an off market case where you can slide it on to your belt.
Good luck. Thanks Amazon for ignoring my complaints. Now I'm out 60+ dollars because of a poorly designed case.
Truthfully and respectfully

I lost my old Leatherman and several of my friends said that SOG make a great product. Well, they were right. It's a great multitool. Great product at a great price. I'd recommend this to anybody.
