Bought this to replace an old broken two level one that had seen better days. Ordered this model because of its stainless steel construction. Thought that maybe the platters were stainless steel and the supports might be plastic but I was wrong. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that both platters were indeed stainless steel the the three support posts were also metal and the screws to put it together were metal as well. I think that maybe the rubber feet on the bottom were the only none metal part. It fits together in about 2 minutes (took me longer to find a screwdriver at home). It also turns very easily and spins freely without any binding. Even fully loaded (albeit without very heavy items) it still spins easily. Will probably pick up a single level one as well.
In these days of all plastic things it is nice to find a quality all-metal product that works as advertised.
