I put these in with some knitting yarn to ward off the moths and wound up with moth farm! Moths were in sachets and ate their way out and into the yarn nearest sachets leaving herbs and ruined yarn. Effective for a year?? Hah! Was less than a year when I found out that moths had destroyed my yarn! Cedar blocks and space bags are the way to go if you are trying to protect your garments! I'd give this item zero or negative stars if I could!Customer Review: Do they work? Don't know.

My cloth moth problem is so outlandish I don't know what works. Professionals say they are cloth moths but I have not seen one in our walk in closets. Most are seen in the living room the brightest room in the house roosting near the ceiling and once in a while one is seen flying around in other rooms and the hall. Traps failed to work and I don't see these Sachets doing anything since I haven't seen any in the closets. I can't smell so can't say anything about that. I don't want to be unfair to these but I have put them in the living room and they did not drive the moths from the room. To date I still see moths although they are not many of them as there used to be.Customer Review: Dosn't smell good

Why would anyone opt for smelly camphor when they can have their sweaters scented with a light, refreshing herbal sachet. Not sure as yet about their effectiveness against moths (and by the way, moths don't eat sweaters -- it's the eggs they lay that do the damage) but I do like the herbal scent. I've put these in all my drawers not only with the wools and cashmeres.Customer Review: Expired product

I recently purchased a box of these sachets and it came with an expired date on it. I would not recommend purchasing from this company. They are charging full price for expired products.
