Customer Review: Decent shelving - but plastic sleeve collars need work

A friend and I fought to assemble this without the sleeve collars sliding down once the shelf was in place - I think the little ridges on the inside of the sleeves should be made of harder plastic - and maybe a little bit more pronounced.
After 20 minutes of screwing with it - we finally just settled with one of the shelves being slightly crooked.
Never had this problem with shelves I have bought in the past from places like Target or Sam's Club.
