Shark has a great design concept that is not common to many Japanese saws - the blades are easily removed for compact storage or replacement. Push the red button and pull it out, push the red button and push it in until it clicks. There is also a plastic blade guard included that will keep the teeth from being damaged.

I am so pleased with this and the other shark saw and prybar combo I bought, that I will slowly replace all my handsaws with shark equivalents.
