I've been buying LED light fixtures of various types for a couple of years and the improvements have been amazing (with most of them). This one is a disappointment on several counts. It's large in comparison other battery-powered lights of equivalent or greater light output. It doesn't provide much illumination for the size and price and requires expensive 'C' cell batteries (which don't last very long). The only thing I like about it is that it dims slowly before turning off which gives me time to wave my hand in front of it to re-activate it. The SE 10-LED lights are way better.Customer Review: Garbage

I bought two, once opened, the motion sensor doesn't work on one unit. After about 5 days, the other unit's motion sensor also stop working. The units are poorly made from China with cheap plastic. Also the light uses 3 C-type batteries. Now I own two cheap & heavy plastic lights. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED...Customer Review: Great Product

For the application, I think this is great. I use it in my laundry room so when I walk through to the garage, it lights up the path just enough to see without turning on the flourescent lights. I had it about 3 months now and works great. I like that it shuts off so fast after not detecting motion to conserve on the batteries. I estimate the batteries will last about a year, we'll see.
