Customer Review: Chemical smell.
Summary: 3 Stars
I agree with another poster that the smell is awful. If you lay on your back, you can avoid it, but if you lay on your side--the smell is repugnant.
That being said, so far (3 days) the 1 pillow I purchased is fine as far as support goes. It's nowhere as cool as advertized but it doesn't get hot, just warm.
I'll go back to COSTCO and smell a few others to see if they all have that horrid oder.
