This is probably one of the best knifes I've ever purchased. It comes pretty sharp out of the box and I got it in the mail before they said it would, which was a big plus. It's small and if you have big hands it may be a problem, but since I have tiny hands, it's not. I seriously reccomend buying this knife.Customer Review: Awesome

plain and simple this knife was awesome. i bought as a gift for a friend of mine since he's going to Iraq, i thought he'd need it. And, he loved it. He would take it every where for a while. The sheeth is very sturdy, but the knife itself is of amazing quality. The blade came pre-sharpened and the hilt was nice and sturdy. And, because it had a rubbery texture to it, you could get a good grip.Customer Review: Awesome

The knife is defiantly a keeper. Razor sharp when I received it and it didn't take but 3 days to get here after it was shipped. I would recommended this one to anyone. Nice weight and size make it ideal for a throwing knife for experienced throwers :)

I have several Smith and Wesson Knives, and this one is very nice for the money. The blade is well honed, and extremely sharp on both sides. I must confess, I have little practical experience with it! I have it in my Explorer for emergency use. However, the high quality of the blade and ergonomic design do make me feel confident if I ever should have to use it. The name does imply defensive purposes, Black HRT Boot Knife. HRT stands for Hostage Rescue Team. The Scabbard is pretty nice as well, it has a metal clip for your belt or your cowboy boots, and it is a perfect size to go on your belt or in your boot. The only reason I would downgrade this knife from 5 stars to 4 is the grip. It could be a hair thicker. I would feel very comfortable overall in any situation that I needed a sharp, strong knife.
