After too many years of wrapping every ornament in tissue paper or putting them back in their original packaging, I decided to get this ornament box. It made "un-decorating" the tree a breeze, and now my ornaments take up less room in the attic. I did line each layer with a sheet of bubble paper so the ornaments wouldn't lay on the hard plastic, but otherwise it worked great.Customer Review: Almost Great

This product is almost great, except the cardboard inserts do tend to bend, come apart or twist. However, this three-tiered box certainly holds many many ornaments. I like the convenience of the stackable trays, and haven't had any problems with the snaps coming unfastened. If you have any heavier ornaments, I'd suggest a flat tray system that won't be susceptible to damage.Customer Review: Better than most

I had been searching for a better option for ornament storage. So far as I have found, these are the BEST! But, I didn't like the ornaments rolling around in the plastic box. I did buy a roll of foam packing from a local office supply like this Foam Wrap 150' x 12" Roll. The 12" squares fit near perfectly in the bottom and don't take up room so the lid still closes. This also helps keep the dividers more secure and from moving around.
Yes, the dividers don't fit into the plastic box slots. I'm guessing that the slots where originally put in and it came with plastic dividers, but there were probably problems with the dividers expanding and contracting in weather, plus the ornaments on being as cushioned as the new cardboard ones. So, despite the other negative reviews about the dividers, I don't have a problem with them. They are similar to other storage items. Also, I used the extra dividers that I wasn't using to filling in gaps at the edges of the dividers for smaller ornaments. this also saves the un-used dividers for later use if needed. I like that I can separate the individual layers, place them on the floor and see all my ornaments without having to take everything out of each layer to get to the next.
I used to have a storage bin similar to this Iris Ornament Storage Box - Large. This is the one I'm replacing (see review). I HATED it. Because the box tapers down toward the bottom, only certain dividers fit in the bottom versus the top. And only a certain cardboard separator for layers only fits in the bottom. Every time we took ornaments out of the box, we had to remove the dividers and separators to get to the next level. All the dividers would fall apart and we had to figure them out all over again when we packed up for the season. I had to tape the dividers together. Also, because the box tapers, the edges of the separators didn't keep things from sliding down the sides. Everything was always a jumble.
Just like other plastic containers, the edges can crack and chip. For this reason, I don't recommend having them shipped to you, buy them from a local store. I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond. Save your coupons and get them after Christmas. I plan on getting more of these.

This product arrived with the bottom tray tab broken, It was not worth the hassle to try to return it. I also received the scrapbook tote last week and it had the corner cracked and broken so I glued it back on.
Friday I received the large craft and snap and one of the snaps on the bottom tray was broken and the top tray was cracked. Needless to say I will not be ordering anymore of those products
Customer Review: Cardboard dividers aren't long enough!

I bought these for Christmas ornament storage this year, and thought they were so great because they were compact and sturdy. Mine have stayed snapped (already put ornaments away that we didn't use) but the cardboard dividers don't even touch the sides of the boxes! I thought the little grooves on the sides held the dividers in place (another thing I liked) but they don't even reach the grooves. AND, they don't include directions on how to assemble the dividers, which if they had reached the sides of the box, would have seemed to be self-explanatory, but I couldn't figure it out at first. Disappointed.
