Product never worked. Humidity levels in my basement are >60%. It is supposed to work at 50%, but the unit does not take any water out of the air -- the reservior is bone dry!
Based on other reviews, I suspect the humidistat is faulty. Also based on other reviews, I chose not to contact the manfacturer to avoid the delays & headaches. Instead, I returned it to Amazon.
Avoid this model.
