I have found this heater to be almost too good. I don't have a lot of space near my desk and on only the 400W level it almost feels like it's burning my leg! My desk is right under a tall window and my legs get cold but I've found if I point the heater towards the wall, the radiant heat bounces off and keeps my legs reasonably warm. I usually only use it first thing in the morning while my office heats up with an oil-filled heater. I plan on taking this heater home for my wife and daughter to try out as they are always cold. The unit has a timer that is handy and it also swivels. The construction seems to be of average quality.Customer Review: Absolutely Fantastic!!!!

I LOVE this heater. I received it as a gift nearly two years ago and it's still working great. I live in a one bedroom apartment in rainy Portland, Oregon and it's gets cold! So many times I've come home cold and wet and this thing makes me feel a million times better in no time at all. It's very quiet (I hate noisy heaters) and it's small, so I can easily bring it with me if I move to another room. It's instantly warming and I love the light. I spend a lot of time at my desk in one part of the house and I keep this heater nearby to keep me warm instead of keeping the electric heat running throughout the house all day. If you want something you can tote around the house with you, you like a warm, orange glow and you want inexpensive heat instantly, BUY THIS!!Customer Review: Absolutely thrilled!

FANTASTIC PRODUCT. Need I say more? I agree with everything the other five-star reviewers have written.
I received mine today and plugged it in... Its like a miniature sun in your home, its super quiet, extremely light to carry, efficient, the oscillating feature is just great, its very modestly price for how good it is & above all, its heats like a dream, I have not even used the 800W yet as im still loving the 400W.
The glow it emits is just so calming, just like standing infront of direct sunlight on a cold day... heats you beautifully.
I could not be happier.

I bought one at the beginning of November for heating up my office at home. It does heat up where it's pointed at and delivers instant warmth. That's the main purpose for this heater -- keep me warm before the central AC warms up the room. I used it for about half an hour per day. The oscillation is noisy and un-stable, but that's all right. However, today (Feb.20) it finally reached its end of life. Suddenly the low heat option is gone (gives high heat output), and smoke started to come out after 5 minutes. I am glad I only used it in office instead of bedrooms while sleeping! Only use oil-filed or ceramic radiators in your bedrooms!!!Customer Review: An AMAZING Heater that saves me money!

I cannot stand gas heating; too expense and drys out the air, now who wants that? Welcome to the smart heating with the Soleus Air MS-09 Oscillating Radiant Heater. Why heat your entire home and waste money, went you can be warmer by only heating the parts of your home you actually use.
More importantly, I am FINALLY warm, without drying out the air in my home. One thing I have never like with gas heat is it takes all the humidity out of the air. What's the problem? Winter months are dry to begin with and your skin begins to quickly feel it.
By using the Soleus Air MS-09 Oscillating Radiant Heater, it saves me money and my skin...HIGHLY Recommend!
