Customer Review: A real disappointment!

I was very excited when I heard abou this product. I've suffered through hot flashes for years and thought this might get me a better night's sleep. While it is cool when I first lie down, it warms up quickly. It is very firm (not pillow like) and I spend a great deal of time in the morning trying to smooth it because it inevitably ends up slipping off the top of my pillow and bunching up.
I would not recommend this product to people who think it will relieve night sweats or who like a pillow that is somewhat comfortable.

Suffering from burning feet and neurapathy after chemo, I seldom managed to sleep through the night without kicking off covers and waving my feet in the air, with subsequent tossing and turning. The Chillow now resides beneath the bottom sheet at the foot of my bed. With a sigh of relief I rest my feet there for the night and haven't fought the covers since! After reading positive reviews, I opted for the Chillow Deluxe. It is disappointing, does not stay flat throughout the night. Getting all the air out was a challenge and the cooling effect was not what I expected. Wish I would have saved my money and bought a bag of frozen peasinstead.
