I bought one of the older Chillows when they first came on the market, but wore it out over time.
This Chillow Plus is just as cooling..BUT because of the horrible, overpowering plastic smell(and it is STRONG), I really can't stand using it. The odor does not go away with time.
I am really disappointed in the new Chillow Plus.
Don't buy it. Save your money!!!!

I bought this for my daughter who is serving in the Peace Corp in Indonesia. It is really hot there and she was having trouble sleeping. This seemed like a good product for her. I bought it and spent a large sum sending it to her (since Amazon would not ship it directly). She was thrilled and used it happily for just over a month UNTIL she woke up one night to find her bed flooded because the pillow sprang a leak. The product was either defective or they are all poorly made and will not last. I am trying to get some help from customer service, but so far I have not. Thought those of you planning on buying should know.
