I got this to help with night sweats I was starting to get at night when I went to bed.First of all the plastic smell is so bad and it never goes away I have had this a month and it it still as strong as the first day. It does not stay cool ( not cold ) for more than 15 to 20 mins tops.
It is a waste of money . My 2.99 cold pack stays cold for 2 hours and this thing was 31.00 and I am lucky to get 15 mins out of it. I waited a month to review this to be fair and I still feel the same way. Dont waste your money you will be dissapointed.

Very excited to get my Chillow. Read the reviews and figured the investment was not tremendous if it didn't help my hot flashes. I'm up a lot during the night, and the Chillow did help cool me off quicker. I need to flip it around a good bit to find the cool parts. I keep it in a separate pillow case on top of my regular pillow. I think I need to get a flatter pillow - the 2 stacked gave me a stiff neck. The Chillow got folded up - as 1 of the other reviewers mentioned. But I was able to straighten it out by holding the 2 top corners and shaking it out (like putting on a duvet cover). I've had the Chillow for about a week. For now, it's just ok. But I'm hoping with some practice, I'll like it more.Customer Review: This item sucks !!!!

Save your money people this crap does not work,,,,the foam folds up on the inside of the pillow and you will never,,,i mean never be able to unfold it and the company is hard to get in touch wit and they will not answer your call or refund your money they should be put in the "Hall Of Shame"Customer Review: Very helpful

NEVER, EVER, BUY A VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE FOAM MATRESS ( initials T-P ). I had been suffering, & tossin'& turnin', & sweatin' like an oldie after just a few nights on my new "sweat-o-pedic". I tried everything I could think of...cold showers at midnight, ice in zip-loc bags, [they leak:( ] ,sleeping in the buff...oops I didn't intend to admit that. (my pastor sez sleeping nude could lead to dancing) Anyhoo, I was miserable...AND THEN I FOUND CHILLOW & the rest (& the sweats) are history.
Yes, they DO warm up to body temp eventually but that's why I BOUGHT TWO!!! I keep an extra next to my bed & switch if needed. I liked them so much I bought a third to put inside the pillowcase with my icky-sticky T-P neck bump pillow. I don't care if they DO wear out...I'll just buy more.

Yes, I DID have to buy TWO MORE. They didn't spring a leak but they got full of MOLD .....YUCK!
I stored them in my closet for the winter & now they are full of mold & SMELL.
I really thought they would last more than one season.
They work so well, & as I have no alternative, I bought 2 more.
I bought distilled water to fill them with this time & think I'll add a bit of bleach to the water.
I guess I should have drained them befor winter storage, but the manufacturer didn't mention anything about that. They DID say that if they develop mold they should be tossed.
We'll see how my new plan works.
I DO NOT intend to spend money on 2 new ones EVERY year.
