Customer Review: A Deal for the Price

For under $140 I ordered this bed off Amazon and it arrived less than a week later. The UPS delivery left the box on my front porch and I had to unpack it there and bring it in pieces because it was so heavy. It took a couple of hours to put it together. It really wasn't too bad to put together. There were more directions than you would have gotten on IKEA pieces. The drawers are flimsy but I used glue to help put them together and glued in the drawer panel. I don't believe the drawers can be used for anything other than underwear and socks. The drawers only take about 1/2 of the space in the base, so there is some space behind the drawers to store stuff that don't need to be accessed regularly. The bed is cute and I do like it. We really needed something small for a small room. We only bought the platform portion to keep it compact and it really works. I found a similar bed at IKEA for about $50 more and beds on Craigslist were still over $100 for used beds. This is not a piece your kid will be handing down to the next generation but it should get through a few years without any problem.
