Tools and Hardware Reviews of Soviet Russian WWII Gas Mask Adult w/ Shoulder BagCustomer Review: Great costume mask! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought two of these mask for a event I was going to. I loved them. They were a great addition to my costume. Very sturdy rubber masks; nice little cloth shoulder bags. The delivery was fast. I would not recommend this mask for any real survival needs....it is a WW2 mask.

This gas mask was exactly what i was hoping for. its made out of a Grey rubber material that fits snug to your head. the mask comes with a carrying bag to that fits the the mask and the filter perfect. i will enjoy this mask very much scaring people with it and wearing it snowboarding! xD lol!
Customer Review: Great mask Summary: 4 Stars
This is a excellent mask. the bag it comes with is great the mask itself is comfortable (minus the fact that the rubber being very tight, rips long hair out when i take it off) on top of that its not complicated its simple to put together, take apart and maintain. some notes:
this is what this mask actually is : [...]
here is the website that the box it arrives in directs you to : [...]

Customer Review: Is this safe to sleep in? Summary: 1 Stars
I know you're probably thinking that I'm going to use this mask for a bong and I'm worried about passing out while wearing it.
Nothing could be further from the truth! This semester, unfortunately, my college put me in a low-cost triple. It's a great deal and I thought I was being smart by taking the bottom bunk, but hindsight being 20/20, it might be one of the worst decisions I've ever made. One of my roommates is on the crew team and the other plays soccer, so the place smells like an unwashed jock all the time, even outside of my little cavern of stink. Inside the bunk, it can be horrible. Literally face-melting. Like the last five minutes of Raiders of the Lost Ark, but with pure unadulterated funk instead of angry ghosts.
There are a couple other factors here. One, I have terrible sleep apnea, my mom says because of adenoids. Do you think that makes it less safe to wear a mask like this at night? The other thing is that I probably wouldn't wear it every night. Most nights I can sleep okay, but when they serve sloppy joes or beefaroni in the meal hall, I really wish I had something like this. Do you think a doctor would say it's okay to wear this kind of mask two or three nights a week? I mean the Russian soldiers must have had to wear them at night if they had some kind of raid or something?
Also, is this the sort of gas mask you can make into a bong? The guys who sell them in the park want like $40 and this looks like a better deal.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
Customer Review: Meh... Summary: 3 Stars
While this IS a good gas mask, this isn't a WWII gas mask. It's actually a GP-5 civilian gas mask that was produced in the 1970s and 1980s. In fact, the filter that I got states that it was created in 1982.
There are myths around the internet saying that this gas mask has asbestos in it. While asbestos was most commonly used in gas mask filters prior to the 1960s, and Wikipedia says that there isn't any asbestos in the filter, I would probably buy a NATO 40mm filter, just in case.
