After multiple failures with the original Space Bags I decided to give these a try following a good review by my sister. They work great. I was able to vacuum pack and store my entire Rose Tree bedding set; queen size quilt-2 pillow shams -2 king pillows and three small pillows -bed skirt;in one bag for spring and summer storage. They stay compressed all year rather than the 2 hours of regular Space bags. They also stack well in storage. Be prepared to iron out the wrinkles.Customer Review: At least it came with straps

I purchased this for my wife's scrubs (no zippers, no buttons, noting hard or sharp), the sides tore before it was even partially filled. The vacuum bag material is just too thin. At least it had the straps so I could strap it down and then zip it up.
Personal opinion, do waste your money.

I purchased some original space bags and loved how they sealed up things nice. Unfortunately I had a few of the bottoms rip out (just pushing big items in) and they didn't seal all that well.
Enter the tote's. The totes are essentially the normal space bags, but much better. The weakest part of the bag is now attached to a canvas/cardboard section (the bottom of the tote), the valve to suck air out is much nicer, and the zipper is now doubled up. Plus the tote provides safety for it when you toss it in a closet/move with it.
They lose a star because it doesn't fit perfectly into the tote, and for how much more expensive they are than the original ones. I'd like to see an original bag upgraded with the new options without the tote, kind of in the middle.

I must admit. I was skeptical when purchasing this product. It did have great reviews but i'd used space saver bags in the past that didn't work. I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to stuff all of my large blankets and pillows into the bags. They did not rip and they squished down to a perfect storable size. I read they are moisture proof as well. So I can basically just throw them in the garage and save space in the house. great great product.
