I have a small kitchen, I don't like clutter, I don't like tons of things on the counter and I love my paper towel holder. My refrigerator is right next to my sink and it works perfectly to have my paper towels in arms reach. Magnets are strong, but I don't "yank" on it. It's never fallen off the fridge.Customer Review: Great idea to save space.

I've had this paper towel holder for almost a year now, and the magnet hasn't yet broken off the holder, as some other reviewers have stated.
It has at times, however, come off the fridge when my husband or I have tried to remove a sheet of paper towel. Other times, the whole roll unravels when I try to tear off just one sheet.
It is convenient if one is trying to save space, but you just have to be careful to not yank very hard at the paper towels, or the holder will just come off.

I really wanted to believe all the other reviews I read before I bought this. I really wanted them to be true. I am temporarily bedridden, and have a small refrige next to the bed to keep my water real cold. I planned to put the paper towel holder on the side of the fridge, in easy access. I even put it vertically, so the towels could release even easier.
I had it in place less than four days when it fell, at 2 am...it woke me up. No one had touched it, it was 2am, and the paper towels and holder fell to the floor, but the magnetic strip that was on the back of the holder was now only on the side of the little refrigerator. The glue holding the strip to the back of the product had simply released in the middle of the night. I want to assure you it had nothing to do with the temperature either. It has been hot in Texas in the last several weeks, but I am lucky in that my spouse allows me to keep the thermostat on 70 degrees. So, temperature would not have been a factor.
I am planning to return this item and upgrade to the metal magnetic paper towel holder, at least there is no magnetic strip to come unglued. I had so hoped this wouldn't happen. C'est la vie!!
