Customer Review: Beautiful stand, with bad solder rendering it useless

The item arrived quickly and the finish on the item is very nice. So it gets one star for that. However the joints on the stand I received have been welded together at such a poor angle that the item wobbles considerably. The straight start of the arm before it arches up is angled downwards so that it goes below the circular base the stand should rest on. The only way to fix it would be to break the solder holding the two pieces and re-solder it at the right angle. This wobbling makes it pretty useless to me, there's no point in a stand that isn't steady. At the low price this item is it's not even worth returning due to shipping costs. A shame, aside from the shoddy connection between the base and the stand making it useless it seems a very nice item with a beautiful finish and good heft. If it were not for this flaw I'd have given it 5 stars, but an item this simple in construction either works or it doesn't and the one I got does not and thus does not deserve more than one star.Customer Review: Better looking than some

I purchased this to set on my desk top and hold my big bulky gaming head-set. It does a great job! :-)
Pros: Looks stylish and holds bananas or head-sets just fine! It's heavy enough and balanced so that the big head-sets don't topple it over.
Cons: Price could be lower...
