Customer Review: A total waste of time & money...
Summary: 1 Stars

I promised myself I would not use profanity in this review, although this product is richly worthy of it. With that commitment in mind, I will simply say that this product is totally unsatisfactory. Name any "feature" promised in its advertising...in my experience, that feature does not work, or at least does not work well. NOTHING! The instructions are so impenetrably obscure that they seem to have been written for some other device. The display is virtually unreadable. The control buttons are so unresponsive to the user's input that they seem completely irrelevant. In short, this "timer" has been a total waste of my time and money. I am left asking myself the same old question: When will I finally wise up? When will I embrace the fact that Stanley is not the revered, high quality manufacturer I remember from my youth. When will I really grasp the new reality, the reality that Stanley now produces grotesquely mediocre products that work poorly (if they work at all)...and that rather than striving to improve their products, Stanley now tries to hide their flaws behind advertising hype. How sad. Sad for me, sad for Stanley...and sad for anyone who foolishly wastes their money on this totally unsatisfactory product.
