Customer Review: Looks cool and useful, but it's really cheap and flimsy

I bought this flashlight thinking it would be of equal or similar quality of the larger Stanley Tripod flashlights. I was very wrong. It is very flimsy, and cheap. The keychain part sticks down so low, that it won't stand up on it's own like it is supposed to. It does have a nice bright led light, but if you are looking for a small compact led light, there are better ones out there. If you like the tripod feature, I do highly recommend the other two Stanley Tripod flashlights. I own both the "aa" and the "aaa" sizes and they are great.Customer Review: Mini Tripod Light

I ordered the full size version first and saw these later. I ordered them as stocking stuffers. They were a huge hit. They omit an amazing amount of light. They are small and extremely handy. Much better than the small penlights I have ordered in the past.Customer Review: Neat Light!

Neat light! Gives great, bright beam, the tripod legs are sturdy, and the adjustment for the head is firm.
Only two issues I've had:
1: It's a bit big for a keychain, and it's easy to accidentally flick the light on after a couple weeks of pocket use.
2: When the tripod is deployed, the base of the keychain is juuust long enough that it's only ever sitting on two legs, so it isn't quite as stable as it could be.
I got this as a gift. I'm not certain I'd buy it for myself, but it's quite nice to have.

For something so small, it puts out a fair amount of light. Very light weight. Slide switch turns on accidently sometimes (twist type would have been better). All in all, worth the cost.
