I came here to get a link for a friend, as I've been recommending this fan to everyone here in Southern CA. Its the best fan I've ever experienced, without question. I have a fantastic $100 fan with mister... it'll never be used again. This little demon of a fan will have your teeth chattering. There's no dead spot in the center due to rotating blades like most. It has a focused blast of very powerful (can set down to gentle, of course) cool air that feels 3-5x cooler than other fans' output. It is one of the best purchases I've ever made, and far far quieter than blade-fans. I would put the noise on par with the tower fans available. This sub-$50 fan will save you hundreds on your electricity bill (CA particularly). This is maybe my second ever review... I don't recommend many products at all. This is top of the list. I bought two of these fans for use in the kitchen at our church. Heat builds up during cooking in the kitchen and we were looking for something that would move the air around. They really do the trick and everyone has raved about how great it is to have them. The fans are very compact and easy to move around and move a lot of air for their size. As we move from cooking to serving to cleaning during our events the fans are easily redirected to take care of our needs.Customer Review: Blows.

The Stanley #655702 High Velocity Blower packs a hell of a breeze within it. On low, it out-performs my Lasko box-fan on high. It blows a tremendous amount of air with a not-too-off-putting amount of noise. I find it performs very well whether directing air at something which needs drying, circulating air in a house, or directing it at yourself on a 100-degree summer day.
It also has two three-prong grounded 11-amp outlets on the side.
