Ive used this nailer a few times and it works great.I used it on 1" oak boards and trim and has no problem driving the nail right in. I've also used it on 1" pvc boards with no problem. Its light weight and easy to use.
Description of Stanley SFN250K 1-inch to 2-1/2-Inch 16-Gauge Finish Nailer
There's no quicker, easier way to install interior trim than with a pneumatic nailer. But, there are dozens of pneumatic nailers on the market and it's important to choose the correct one. The Stanley SFN250K is specifically designed for installing all sizes and types of wood molding including baseboard, chair rail, door and window casing, shoe molding, and crown molding. It's also suitable for cabinetmaking and woodworking.The 3.4-pound tool drives 16-gauge nails, which are very thin with tiny T-shaped heads. As a result, the nails are less likely to split delicate moldings and they leave behind barely visible holes. The SFN250K accepts nails ranging in length from 1 inch to 2-1/2 inch; its straight magazine holds up to 100 nails.
Additional features include an adjustable depth setting, rotating exhaust deflector, no-mar rubber tip, and a quick-release mechanism that makes it easy to clear out jammed nails. The tool comes complete with a blow-molded plastic carrying case and 500 nails. -- Joseph Truini
