I was very hesitant about trying this item , but the possibility of helping my eczema sold me to try it. The very first load and each load thereafter I have notice no static at all and the clothes are soft. In fact My brother-in-law gave me a pullover sweatshirt and before I washed it I noticed it had a good bit of static in it but after I washed and dried it there was no static at all. I highly recommend it. Before I used it the first time though I washed out the inside of my dryer. Some places charge more than others so check around I was able to find it for about $11.Tools and Hardware
