Tools and Hardware Reviews of SteamFast SF-407 1500-Watt Fabric SteamerCustomer Review: Doesn't Drip Summary: 5 Stars
I am sick and tired of steamers that drip more than they steam. I decided to try once more, and this steamer made my day. It worked very well. It was definitely worth the money.
Customer Review: Easy alternative Summary: 4 Stars
I have had the SteamFast SF-407 for about 4 weeks. Set up was fast/easy. I've experienced no leaks and it does what it's advertised to do. In our household it would never replace a steam iron, but does a good job for a quick alternative. Heats up very quickly. Couple things that would be helpful: a specific hanger for shirts that wouldn't leave a mark showing how it was hanging - like padding or something; and second, a bigger water container. If this was my only source of ironing, I would make or buy a big steam pad for pressing. A more expensive unit would probably have a "pause" button rather than turning the unit on/off. Haven't used it extensively, but so far, it was well worth the money spent.
Customer Review: Easy to use Summary: 3 Stars
Seems to work best on sweaters. Not for linens.
I have to wear gloves to prevent burns on my hands.
I dropped the handle, and now it leaks. Made of plastic.
The shipping was very fast!
Customer Review: Economical steamer Summary: 4 Stars
This garment steamer delivers a strong force of steam, so it does its job very well. I like the fact that with a quick pass of the wand I can remove wrinkles in a minute. The only thing that I don't like is that it has wheels and moves while I pass the wand. Otherwise, it's a good machine for such a small investment.
Customer Review: Efficient little steamer Summary: 4 Stars
Nice steamer, quick heating. Could be a little heavier for stability, and the cord could be longer, but otherwise works well.
