If you or your family members wear jeans, T-shirts, knits and sweaters, this steamer will make life so much easier! It heats quickly (in 1-2 minutes) and you can de-wrinkle a T-shirt in about 30 seconds. This steamer does a fabulous job on all drapey, soft fabrics (eg: polyester, acrylic, cotton blends) and jeans...be sure to pull the garment taught with one hand while holding the steamer in the other. The steamer does not work well on tighter weave fabrics such as 100% cotton or linen blouses...for dress shirts and the like, it's still best to use an iron. I recommend using distilled water (as the instructions suggest) or minerals will build up inside the plastic housing which are difficult if not impossible to remove, as I found from experience.
