This iron is not only small enough to fit neatly in the corner of a suitcase but it is so light it won't add any weight to the luggage. It does a great job of steam ironing the wrinkles out of majority of clothes. The iron worked fine when I tested it at home, but when I tried to use it (since it has dual voltage) in Europe, the prongs didn't fit in the outlets. Then, I connected the iron to the converter, whereupon it fried the converter. So, not only didn't I have an iron I could use, I was out my converter as well.Customer Review: GREAT IRON without the size

This little iron gets nice and hot. Worked GREAT ! Nice and solid with some weight, seems very well made and designed. Didn't use the steamer because I didn't need to,the unit gets hot enough to take out wrinkles without the steam. The size is great when trying to conserve space in a suitcase.

I use this mini steam iron for my quilting projects on very small scraps of fabric. It's effective, easy to use and fits in my hand like a dream.
