This is one of my favorite garden purchases. It makes weeding and planting much more comfortable and I can work longer. It's lightweight, but sturdy, and not at all cumbersome. I easily grab the handle along with other tools or buckets and take it where I need it. Whether you straddle it or use it as a bench seat it's easy to wheel in 2 directions. However if you need to turn, you need to raise off it a bit and change the direction with your hands. It's sturdy and seems like it will last a long time. I highly recommend this if you are currently squatting, kneeling, or bending while you garden.

I love my Garden Hopper. It's the right height and makes gardening so much more enjoyable. I love being able to put my hand gardening tools in the storage space. The only thing keeeping it from getting 5 stars from me is somehow water gets into the bottom part. I see no opening, but it happens. If there was a hole for drainage it wouldn't be a big deal, but the water gets in and I can't get it out, although turning it upside down seems to help. I am 72 years old and have trouble getting up and down from floor level. I don't do gardening but I do need something to help me stand and sit at or near the floor at times. This little jewel is a life saver for me. My computer modem is on the floor and this is ideal for me to clean it using this Garden Hopper. I have several shelves that are low to the floor and I can manage these with what I call my butty. I wish I had it when I did have a garden, it would have saved me a lot of unnecessary aches and pains.

When i purchased this item i had assumed that the top part was a lid that could be opened and closed. Admittedly that was my mistake but i think the item would have benefited immensely from this alteration. The wheels work well enough, the seat is pretty large although putting tools under the seat can be a bit awkward. I also would have liked some sort of hole so that i could attach a piece of rope thus allowing me to tow the hopper around the yard instead of bending down and picking it up. I accomplished this by drilling a hole at the edge of the seat plastic and securing a piece of acrylic rope.

Overall this item was not as convenient as i had hoped but i was able to adjust by adding the rope. Turning the top seat into an opening lid unfortunately wasnt possible.
