We used this product to seal our granite in our kitchen. It was well worth the price we paid. We have sealed our granite twice before and could not tell the difference. This product is the very best by far for sealing porous granite tops. It was easy to apply and our granite never looked so good.Customer Review: Cheap way to boost your investment.

After the countertop installation guys left I noticed dark spots on the granite whenever water stayed on the surface for mere 3 minutes. I do not want to convey you the feeling when I discovered this but it was not pleasant.
Before the order the granite countertop company told that the granite had been presealed so the dark spots were unexplainable to me.
Before trying a long fight with the company I just thought that I can try to fix it first myself and bought the most expensive sealer I could find, which appeared to be StoneTech BulletProof Sealer. It cost me about $50 a quart but comparing to the price of the stone countertop it is really not that much. After the application I am very relieved to report that water does not penetrate the stone for at least 30 minutes, that is the same as with a most expensive stone.

I lugged this stuff halfway around the world to a house I was building on the Mediterranean and smugly announced to the installer that going forward nothing would penetrate the granite countertops, this product came from America!!! So now I have huge grease stains that will not go away and even water penetrates the granite, although the stain disappears after it dryes in the case of water. To any prospective buyer, ask for a sample. Perhaps it will work for you but despite careful adherene to instructions it was a total waste of money in my case.

This sealer was fairly easy to apply (no tiring rubbing needed). Six months after the initial application it seems to have done a good job preventing any stains or discoloration of the granite countertops it was applied to.
Update: after two additional repeat applications this sealer continues to perform well. It has also done a surprisingly good job resisting any staining in the granite sink which is subject to daily use, and various dishes left to dry/soak on a regular basis. The sink does require slightly more frequent reapplication, however protective qualities are impressive. I have upgraded to 5 stars based on longevity and effectiveness specifically in the sink.

After buying White Kashmir granite for kitchen and one bathroom, I learned that this granite is extremely porous. After researching bought and applied the BulletProof Stone Sealer. I was much relieved to see that, as advertised, this sealer does protect porous granites from all kinds of potentially staining products. The fact that sealer has a 72 hours curing time is a small price to pay for the peace of mind it provides. I now enjoy the granite without concerns. I highly recommend this product.
