I bought this product because hair clogs are always slowing down the drain in my tub/shower. I was imediately impressed by how easily the suctions cups adhered to my drain. After my first shower I was shocked by how much hair had been trapped. No wonder my drains were so slow.
Another perk is that I can give my dog a bath indoors now, without worrying about her hair clogging up the drain and causing problems.

Stop-a-Clog drain protectors are pretty good at catching hair in showers. It's soft so it doesn't hurt if you step on it and it doesn't create a pool of water from going down drain. There will be some pooling but not much. I've tried other traps and they end up acting like a mini stop-plug and you end up standing in a half inch of water when you shower. You can't go wrong with this one and it's cheap. Buy a bunch and throw it away after a while.Customer Review: These work GREAT!

I bought this product for use in my shower and bathroom sink, both of which collect a lot of hair, and I was very disappointed. I have been using it for about a week, and it is catching about a 10% of the hair that other drain protectors I've used in the past have collected. When I first got the product, I suspected that the huge slits that are all over the top of it would be a problem, but interestingly, most of the hair isn't even passing over the top of the product; instead it is simply sliding underneath the product, around the suction cups, and right into the drain. I think this would be better suited for those looking to catch chunks and particles rather than hair.Customer Review: Too small for shower drain.

This is nice idea and would work for a small shower drain hole but NOT for regular sized shower drains. The suction cups do not cover so that you can keep it down. A larger size would be better.
