I ordered this rack for the back of my bathroom door, but it ended up sitting in my garage now.
First,the quality of the material that this rack is made of is poor. It's that thin, light, metal thing covered in white paint, which you see mostly in hardware store. I don't even have a fancy bathroom. Most of my bathroom stuff are from Target, but this rack still doesn't look good in my bathroom.
Second, as one reviewer pointed out, unless you are willing to drill several holes and put in screws in your door, this rack won't stay and will swing when you open the door each time. The worst part is that things will fall off from the back of this rack when it swings away from the door. Particularly because the rack itself is not heavy, when you put on something slightly heavier, it easily falls off.
It does give lots of storage place, but I would only use it for garage or storage spaces where I don't care of the look and can fasten the rack onto the wall.

Not bad for the price. I actually separated the 2 pieces and mounted them without the hangers for greater versatility (higher shelf space on the top shelves). The shelves are a bit weak in the middle (put the heavier stuff on the edges)Customer Review: Over Door Rack

I love the space this over-the -door rack has given me. However, have some screws on hand with large heads to secure the rack to the door. The screws included did not have heads substantial enough to keep the rack in place. The rack slips around the screws, so, just use larger ones!!
