I bought two sets and one of them was missing over 30 connectors, so I ended up building one cubby with as many connectors as I had. The design is simple, but the assembly is really annoying, because the connectors are hard to insert. I'd suggest just selecting something different, sigh.Customer Review: Disappointed

Pros: nice color, quick shipment, easy return shipment. Customizable shape, I suppose.
Cons: flimsy! The colored panels are actually thick plastic film. Ridiculous design: the wire rectangles are supposed to go into white connector corners and the whole thing is incredibly wobbly any way you put it together. Even after we put several cells together there were huge gaps between the wire frames. Maybe they were meant to be left for ventilation but overall the cubby looked like an unprofessional, cobbled-together homemade device. Too bad! I sent it back (thanks Amazon!) and will look for a different shoe storage arrangement.

I wish I spent more money on a better organizer. It was nearly impossible to put together. I bought 2 units and it took at least 3 hours. I had to bang it into place with a hammer to get it to stay, and there's no way I'd reconfigure it now that it's set up. That said, it does hold most of my shoes (except sneakers) quite well. I've been using this product for a few months now & I'm quite pleased. It was a lengthy process to put together (about an hour) but it wasn't hard or confusing, just time consuming. It's customizable, so you can use it for boots & such also. I wear a US size 7 1/2 to 8, womens & the slots are plenty big enough for my shoes. For sandals, I was able to get two pairs of shoes in each slot. For regular shoes, such as tennis shoes & business shoes, one pair fits fine. The top is flat, so you can store an extra row of shoes on top also. For a closet, setting it sideways, where you have six shoes across & three down works better than setting it the way it's shown in the picture, with six down & three across.
